Thirty students, ranging from Years 9 to 11, recently took a trip to Deutsche Bank’s offices in London’s corporate district near Liverpool Street. They were invited to partake in a ‘Wellbeing Challenge’ which entailed presenting pitches to three judges on how they would sustainably tackle online bullying in schools with a tight budget of £500. This task was supported by volunteer ‘Mental First Aiders’ from across the Bank, whom our students interviewed to learn about their professions, experiences and expertise.
The workshop was well received by pupils who really engaged with the task, producing innovative ideas, posters and slogans which would be a great asset to the Wapping High PACK values as Anti-Bullying Week approaches.
Deutsche Bank was incredibly impressed with our pupils and cannot wait to welcome them back!
